No CDL drivers?
Trucks over 10,001 lbs that cross state lines still need a file for each driver: license, medical card, a driving record at hire and every year, your yearly review, the job application, a road test and previous employer checks. No drug testing and no Clearinghouse; those are for CDL drivers, so we leave them out of your account.
CDL drivers?
All of that, plus your drug and alcohol records: consortium certificate, policy, supervisor training and who's in the random pool. We run the Clearinghouse queries. Your consortium still runs the random draws and the tests.
Drivers who speak Spanish?
One tap on their link and every screen and form is in Spanish, with the English original a tap away. Their reminder texts come in Spanish too.

$250 a month, for up to 10 drivers
Then $25 a month for each driver past 10. Only active drivers count. Month to month.

Questions carriers ask
Do my drivers need an app or a login?
No. They get a text with a private link. It opens a page with big buttons for the camera. Nothing to install, no password.
What if a driver won't text, or doesn't have a smartphone?
You can upload their documents yourself from your dashboard, or send them to us and we'll add them. Drivers can reply STOP to a text at any time and the texts stop.
Do drivers have to agree to get texts?
Yes. You confirm they agreed when you add them, they agree on their link, or they sign a paper form if they prefer: driver texting consent form (PDF). See the SMS terms.
How does the bill change when I hire or lose a driver?
On its own. Each month we count your active drivers. Up to 10 is $250; past that it is $25 per driver. Mark a driver inactive and they stop counting. There is no prorating mid-month.
Who can see my drivers' documents?
You, the office staff you invite, and us. Files are stored privately and are never public. Details are in the privacy policy.
What's in the audit file?
One download: a PDF report of every driver and document with its dates, a spreadsheet summary, and the original photos and PDFs in a folder per driver.
Does this make my files compliant?
No, and be careful with anyone who says their software does. We track dates, collect documents, and pull MVRs and run Clearinghouse queries when you ask us to. Whether your files meet FMCSA requirements, and who drives, stay your call and your responsibility. We don't file anything with FMCSA.
How do I cancel?
Email cole@driverfilesco.com. It takes effect at the end of the month you've paid for, and your documents and audit file stay available.
